Pill Girl is a short education-drama / fashion film that aims to change your relationship to medication.
It's a nine minutes short film about an attractive and educated young woman who's living a life without meaning. On the outside she has everything that a young woman could desire: prestige, recognition, elegance, and financial independence. Underneath it all she's troubled, unhappy, and lost. A dull reality is given life with pills. The drugs help her to avoid facing the reality and soon she will have to confront her true self.
Directed by Kacper Skowron, written by Kacper Skowron and Lillian Sakamaki, amazing costumes by Juju LaCour, incredible makeup by Lillian Sakamaki. Unique locations, and interesting props were the key for our team to go deeper into main character's fears and expose the consequences of her actions.
It was my privilege to bring this story visually to life. Here are some stills from this movie.
